The Vacancy
Do you want to come to work knowing you can make a real difference? If this sounds like you, we are seeking a dedicated IT Apprentice. Working within a team of 5, you will play a vital role in supporting our two main Hospice sites and retail outlets across North Staffordshire to run smoothly and efficiently through effective technological support.
The IT Apprentice will be enrolled with a local training provider to complete a qualification. The apprenticeship is anticipated to last for 18 months, with one day a week for study.
You will be the first point of contact for our staff in need of IT assistance. You will need utilise your problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. The role will require a DBS check which would be processed and paid for by the Hospice. Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is desirable.

Contract: 18-month fixed term subject to course completion
Salary: Salary is dependent on applicants age and government rates
Hours: 37.5 hours a week (office based) ¦ 9am - 5pm ¦ 5 days over 6 days
